Rule Changes

The Mississippi Supreme Court announced several Rule Changes today.   The most significant is that an attorney can issue a subpoena now after a case is filed.

In Re: The Rules of Civil Procedure; Disposition: On motion of the Supreme Court of Mississippi's Advisory Committee on Rules, Rule 37 of the Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure is amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A effective 30 days after the entry of this order.
